Waipu Cove means a lot of things to a lot a people. In comparison
to Ruakaka beach just 15 minutes north it is quite a busy beach
- busy for Northland that is - you'll usually see at least one
person on it. To me it means good surfing, safe swimming and a great spot
for a picnic and an icecream. It's also probably the southern
most part of what I call home, the Whangarei Heads in the distance
being the centre of that feeling. |
