The bach nestled in the corner of the bay is my Uncle John's place, which he has kindly let us use on occassion. Artist Douglas Chowns lives further up the beach. There's a great rope swing in the corner which I'm thinking of using for future paintings. The left of the tree was the last to be finished and I just liked the way it dissolved into the canvas. In the end it turned itself into a scene where the night is being driven off by the rising morning.
