A large commissioned painting of the group of islands off Bream Bay. The goal was to capture the feeling of serenity of being out on the water in the early morning. It involved a 20min journey out there on a zego before the sun came up, taking lots of photos and then working with those back in the studio to achieve the composition and colouring which was most pleasing to the client.
