After exploring further the power of a subdued grey colour scheme with Matapouri Evening I was inspired to revisit my horse images to see what I could make of these scenes with this new idea. Seems like all the little things I'm learning just keep adding to each other. Slowly slowly...
The scene itself is from Uretiti Beach in Bream Bay, Northland. The rider is Paul Hine - local horse whisperer. I failed to get the name of the horse. I liked the notion of the horse tracks crossing the wind-blown 4 wheel drive tracks in the sand.
