This is a commissioned painting for a friend who has many good memories of time spent in these two locations, camping and fishing. The campsite is in the Waipu Caves area facing west. The scene of distant Bream Bay could possibly be seen from that area, but only by looking east. In this painting I've joined the two scenes together using the central trees as a divider.
