This is the top of the big sand dune at Ocean's Beach with Proctor's on the left. The wind up there that day was pretty intense - sandblasting me as I tried to keep my balance while looking through the camera. If I'd taken a canvas up there to paint it would have ended up somewhere down the beach towards the headland. The great waves that were being pushed in by the wind just added to the wildness of the whole scene. |
