 I spent the day at Langs Beach painting this scene under the shade of the Pohutukawas. It was one of those perfect spring days that beaches are made for and I felt constantly in awe of how beautiful this place is. While I was painting a branch on the main Pohutukawa, Tree Care Services came along and chainsawed it off. You never know what you'll have to contend with when you go painting outdoors.
