Tutukaka is home to what I consider to be some of the world's most beautiful beaches. Sandy Bay is one of the more popular beaches, especially amongst surfers, some of whom may get up early enough to drive out there for a dawn surf and see the sun rising over the Pacific and breaking on the rocks.
