I don't know the name of this location, but it was on the way
from Queenstown to Milford Sound. I got into trouble taking the
photos for this painting because I took too long and held up the
rest of the tour group. Sorry guys, but it was just too beautiful!
The South Island of New Zealand has a wonderful light about it
which renders colours and details more vividly than in the more
humid north. So much so that I had to add some new colours to
my usual palette to get this painting right. |
